Her Story:

 

Mara comes from a full background of creativity. From a very young age she was encouraged to recognize, feed and apply her gifts of creativity through her environment.

She has applied this throughout her life through her 11 year career as a hairdresser and through her passion for dance. 

 

Mara started to feed her passion for dance at 7 years old at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts where she studied musical theatre, tap, and jazz for 8 years until the age of 15. Dance has been both a source of peace and fulfillment that Mara continues to appreciate. 

Very soon after completing her years at R.A.P.A, she then discovered her love for latin dance. After a few years of training, she then joined the team at Cadence Dance Academy for 6 years. She has trained with a variety of artists, performed on many stages and taught at multiple events across North America and the Caribbean. 

 

Mara prioritizes mindfulness and spiritual growth and strives to be a vessel of love, peace and happiness for everyone that she meets. She values and never takes for granted any connection that she is so fortunate to make. Through dance, she is easily able to share her genuine spirit in the most natural way. Whether it be through teaching, on the dance floor, or simply just through conversation, her energy is infectious.
