Group Movement
Salsa & Social Series
A Weekly Social Rhythm Experience

Sundays, January 11 – March 2
4:00–5:00 PM

It’s about enjoying yourself with other people.

Group Movement — Salsa & Social Series is a weekly social rhythm experience for people who want to move, connect, and feel more comfortable in their body without doing it alone.

If you’ve been craving something social that isn’t just “going out,” this is that middle ground.
Move, connect, and enjoy rhythm with others.
No experience. No partner. No pressure.
Why this exists
A lot of people want to try salsa or rhythm-based movement…
but don’t want:
-
a high-pressure dance class
-
to practice alone at home
-
to feel watched or judged
-
or to commit to something intense
This series was designed to be social-first.
You move together.
You learn together.
You enjoy the experience together.

What it actually feels like
Picture this:
-
You walk into a room with music already playing
-
You’re learning simple rhythm patterns with others
-
There’s laughter. There’s movement. There’s ease.
-
You leave feeling lighter, more confident, and glad you came
That’s the goal.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Just rhythm, connection, and a good hour in your body.
What we’ll focus on
The series is anchored in salsa fundamentals, using rhythm-based movement to build:
-
coordination
-
body awareness
-
confidence moving with others
Depending on the group, we may explore other rhythm-based styles, but salsa is the foundation.
No experience required.
No partner needed.
Who this is for
This is a great fit if:
-
you want a social way to learn rhythm or salsa
-
you don’t enjoy learning or practicing alone
-
you want something more engaging than a typical night out
-
you prefer a relaxed, welcoming environment
-
you’re curious about movement but don’t identify as a “dancer”
All levels welcome.

How the series works
-
Weekly sessions on Sundays
-
60 minutes each
-
Runs for 8 weeks
-
Designed as a progression, but drop-ins are welcome if space allows
Consistency helps, but pressure isn’t the point.
